Franklin Beach Energy is an independent energy company dedicated to providing industry-leading services and asset management expertise to commercial, industrial and governmental solar and distributed generation owners. We are not affiliated with any marketer or developer.
Our services focus on helping solar owners manage the business of ownership – we offer our clients a full array of money-saving, revenue-enhancing service procurement and asset management services.
Franklin Beach founder Carter Wall began her career in CHP plant management and finance during the industry restructuring years in 1995. She has managed the feasibility, acquisition, sale and capital planning process for CHP plants in Alaska, Illinois, Massachusetts, Toronto and Washington. Appointed to lead the state’s clean energy agency during the administration of Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, she served for three years and returned to the private sector to focus on building a robust solar business services sector in New England as head of the Performance Solar Division for Broadway Renewable Strategies, one of the largest solar developers in the Northeast.
Since founding Franklin Beach Energy, she has facilitated a variety of transactions for solar owners, including maintenance contract negotiation and management, REC and SREC placement services, solar inspection, due diligence, and decommissioning services, and all of the business and regulatory services associated with asset transactions.
Ms. Wall has been recognized as a leader in her field, serving on the board of New England Women in Energy and the Environment, and as an Ambassador to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) “Clean Energy Education and Empowerment.” (view video)
